“You” or “Your” means any user of our Website or our Services and includes where the context permits a parent, teacher, guardian and or student.
“Website” means a location which is accessible on the Internet through the World Wide Web and which provides multimedia content via a Graphical User Interface.
“Prohibited Content” means any content on any advertising media that:
is, or could reasonably be considered to be, in breach of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992; the Fair Trading Acts of the applicable States and Territories of Australia and the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (CCA); or any other applicable law or applicable industry code; or
contains, or could reasonably be considered to contain, any misrepresentations; or is, or could reasonably be considered to be, misleading or deceptive, likely to mislead or deceive or otherwise unlawful; or

“Personal Information” means any information that identifies or can be used to identify You, directly or indirectly. Examples of Personal Information include, but are not limited to, first and last name, date of birth, email address, gender, occupation, or other demographic information.
“Program” means a face-to-face class or workshop run by Us as part of our Services to you.
“Data” includes all information or data submitted by You or on Your behalf via the Website, telephone, email or otherwise.
“Products” means goods or services or building instruction or Lego kits offered for sale by a Third-Party Vendor or AUS Robo Academy.
“School” means a property or premises or venue that is provided to Us for the purposes of running Programs.
“Services” means the hands-on, interactive, after school workshops, weekend, school holiday and online robotics programs offered by Us, including through use of our Website and School.
“Application” means the AUS Robo Academy online programming Interfaces (APIs), tablet application, WeDo 2.0, plug-ins or other software we make available to You.
“Student” means an individual that is enrolled in a workshop provided by Us.
“Fee” means the fees payable to Us for registering and enrolling a Student in a Program.
“User” is an individual who accesses the Website, or otherwise makes use of Our Services. Users include students, parents, and teachers, and can be, but are not limited to, Your employees, contractors, agents and any third party you invite to use the Service on their behalf.
“Workshop” means a face-to-face class run as part of a Program.
Acceptance
We reserve the right to change any of the Terms and Conditions displayed on this Website (including our Privacy Policy) at any time by notifying You through this Website that We have done so. By continuing to use this Website it shall be deemed that You agree to be bound by the amended terms and conditions as notified and posted on the Website.
If You intend to transact through this Website (i.e purchase goods and/or services) then You warrant that You are at least 18 years of age, that You have the power to accept or agree to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of each User authorised by you, a company or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that User, company, or other legal entity to these Terms and Conditions and, in such event, “you” and “your” will refer and apply to that company or other legal entity.
We may amend the Terms and Conditions related to the Services from time to time. Amendments will be effective upon posting of such updated Terms at this location or the amended policies on the applicable Service. Your continued access or use of the Services after such posting constitutes your consent to be bound by the Terms and Conditions, as amended.
Compliance with Laws
You represent and warrant that Your use of this Website will comply with all applicable laws and regulations (including but not limited to, EU Data Privacy Laws (including the General Data Protection Regulation “GDPR”) (collectively, “EU Data Privacy Laws”) and the Australian Privacy Policy Act 1988 (including the Privacy Amendment (Notifiable Data Breaches) Act 2017) or any other applicable laws.

We also recognise that when You choose to provide Us with information about Yourself that You trust Us to act responsibly and in Your best interests, therefore, We have the following policies in place to protect Your personal information.
Securing Your Information
When making a transaction through this Website Your information will pass through a secure server using SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. The encryption process ensures that Your information can not be read by or altered by outside influences.
Information We Collect
When You request Goods or Services We may collect Personal Information supplied by You when You complete an online form in order to facilitate the purchase of Goods and/or Services. Such information will enable Us to process Your transactions efficiently, analyse our Website services and enable us to provide a higher level of customer service (which may include informative or promotional activities).
Once you have registered for an AUS Robo Academy account, you will be able to manage and use your products and services through that account.
Enrolment and registration
Enrolment is confirmed only when we send you a confirmation email that the Student has been successfully enrolled in the Program. We reserve the right to refuse enrolment to any Student at our sole discretion. Term fees are paid in advance.
In case the Creative Kids Voucher submitted by the parent is not accepted by SERVICENSW, the enrolment will be cancelled.
Refund
We are unable to offer make up classes, refunds, or discounts for missed classes. This ensures AUS Robo Academy can maintain a stable learning environment for all students with minimum class disruptions.
In case a student is enrolled after the commencement of the classes, we shall refund pro-rata fee for missed classes.
In case, the classes have to be stopped or cancelled due to the pandemic or such other reason, appropriate credit will be offered for subsequent term enrolments.
Cancellation Notice Periods
If you notify us in writing 14 days before the start of the first class, a full refund or course credit will be added to your account for the immediate term or holidays following the cancelled period.
- If you notify us within 7 days, administrative fee of $25 will be charged.
- If you notify us within 2 business days before the first class, no refunds will be provided, and credit will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- If you notify us in writing after a trial class and before the second-class a pro rata refund will be applied to your account.
- If you notify us in writing after the second class or later no refunds will be provided, and pro rata credit will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Self-paced Programs
This is a subscription-based service, upon registration, AUS Robo Academy issues an online account with expiry date to access the online platform. Once these have been issued, they are non-refundable.
Your General Responsibilities
Student’s medical condition disclosure is mandatory. Some students with medical condition may require carer/parent to be present in the class.
If the enrolled child attends OOSH on the day of our class, the parents need to provide appropriate authority to OOSH related to this enrolment.
Parents are advised to ensure punctuality while picking up students from our class.
We reserve our right to terminate any enrolment forthwith in case the student is found to be misbehaving, distracting other students or otherwise hampering the study of other students.
Please mention only one contact number as an emergency contact number. The contact number should be easily accessible during class time in case of any emergency. Please also verify that the email id and contact number that you enter are correct and are free from any error because the data you fill in will be used for all future communication purposes.
Parents and siblings are not allowed to stay at the class as this can disrupt other Students.
AUS Robo Academy does not provide food to avoid, where possible, issues with severe allergies. For full-day and multiple-day programs, parents are required to send Students with a water bottle, lunch, morning and afternoon tea.
Your General Responsibilities for Online Programs
Software access: once you have enrolled, you are provided via email, the details of any software that may need to be installed.
Permission for Use of Photographs/Videos of Students
Participants at AUS Robo Academy’ Workshops will be involved in various activities where they may be photographed and/or be filmed. Photographs and/or videos of Students may be reproduced in our publications, marketing materials and website for promotional purposes.
We will only release Photographs/Videos about Student as authorised by Yourself. A parent/guardian is also able to give AUS Robo Academy a written notification that photo and video consent has not been given.
Use of Software
AUS Robo Academy provides you the right to access and use its Software. This right is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and limited by and subject to these Terms and Conditions. You acknowledge and agree that :
- You are responsible for all appointed Users’ use of the Software;
- AUS Robo Academy may terminate Your use of the Software at any time including but not limited to any non-payment of any fees; and
- You must only use the Software for your own lawful purpose, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and any notice sent by AUS Robo Academy or condition posted on the Website.
At any time, AUS Robo Academy reserves the right to discontinue, update, revise, remove or otherwise change Software features and functionality, and the right to revise, update and modify the Terms and Conditions. Your continued use of the Software and/or the Services thereafter will be deemed acceptance of such changes to the Terms and Conditions and/or the Software.
Continuous Service
Due to the inherent nature of Websites, We cannot guarantee the uninterrupted or continuous availability of this Website and You accept that the Website may also be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or scheduled upgrades. Where able We shall give You advanced warning of the same. We shall accept no liability in relation to Website downtime whether scheduled or otherwise.

The display on Our Website of any advertiser or the provision of a link to third party Websites does not constitute Our endorsement of either the advertiser or third party provider or any of their Website content or business practices. The AUS Robo Academy content may be modified from time to time by AUS Robo Academy in its sole discretion.
Creative Kids Rebate
The Creative Kids Rebate is available to families in NSW to redeem a voucher with a value of up to $100 per calendar year for each student aged 4.5 to 18 years old enrolled in school.
In the instance the program is cancelled, we cannot issue the rebate as a refund, but as credit for future use.
Feedback
Feedback is provided for the purpose of facilitating trading by You on Our Website. Feedback provided on other parties must not contain offensive, defamatory, retaliatory or inappropriate language or content. We may remove any feedback that is considered to be offensive, defamatory, retaliatory or inappropriate.
You may only give feedback that relates to a specific transaction. You must not post feedback on a transaction that does not relate to that specific transaction.
You must not post feedback about Yourself or include any contact details or Personal Information in Your feedback.
Neither party shall be liable for any default due to any act of God, war, terrorism, strike, lock-out, industrial action, fire, flood, storm or another event beyond the reasonable control of either party.
